A long to start action, but a romance chewable

The story is a bit long to start: the beginning well lays the foundation of the plot, but the action puts a lot of time before launching. Suddenly, I found this tome may be a little less interesting than the previous ones, although conversely, the relationship between Garrett and Sarah it is well developed.

Garrett is here less gruff than in previous volumes, but still has a special relationship with her stepsisters (giving rise to some pretty funny scenes!). It is much more tender and Sarah centered: it has an overprotective side, touching and cute. We see more "casual", laughing, teasing ... Like his brother, a real man, but quite different character!
Sarah is interesting, especially compared to what it has been able to live, but to me it was a bit annoying sometimes: whine too much, not enough voluntary, although at As she meets Garrett, one feels regain confidence in herself and in life.
Moreover, this volume is more focused on trust, and how to regain after rape. Therefore, the tension between Garrett and Sarah is present, but strictly speaking sex scenes are few.

The ending is a bit fast for my taste, but it is a tome in which there against more raids in the life of Kelly and men of KGI, allowing to learn a little more about Rusty or PJ yet. It also allows not to lose the thread with the characters of other tomes and learn more about their lives (how Rachel continues to regain a foothold in its daily, Sophie's pregnancy ...)
Otherwise, the VF title is just totally off the plate: nothing to do with the plot!

A volume which is more oriented romance. If you are looking for pure suspense, he will have to wait a bit to find in this volume, which remains still a very pleasant reading time!
