I myself use rechargeable batteries for many years and have learned early on that fast-chargers for rechargeable batteries can be toxic. According to Stiftung Warentest died when tested in 2005, more than a third of the batteries; but this time not a single. Nevertheless, I have remained faithful to the slow loading with low currents. Mostly I have the time, because I always have a rechargeable battery pack in reserve. Fast charging means according Warentest incidentally that the charger fills the batteries in two hours; slow loading of the process takes four hours.
++++ My conclusion: I think the black Eneloop batteries and their capacity / Power continues to be convincing! One star deduction is available for the fast-charging shortcoming, which was communicated to my knowledge, not officially. Therefore, one should refrain from a fast charging possible and let the filling (at least) four hours.
It was interesting nor the footnote that the black TEST Eneloop samples were classified as discontinued models by the manufacturer.
