a mess

I found this rather nice mouse (I have the white model), quite comfortable to hold sufficiently accurate and responsive for the office (I think gamers spend their way). Strength or weakness, there is no additional buttons under the thumb, but in return the touch area is divided into 3. It may well assign 3 different functions to this area allows to scroll vertically and horizontally. Another plus for those who have fear of being confused by this touch area at the scrolls, it has haptic feedback that simulates the finger under the scalloped effect of a real wheel, with the noise that goes with it. Both are adjustable, can also disable.

So why in the end I did not like this mouse?
- If the haptic feedback seems like a good idea at first, I soon found annoying and I ended up off. Indeed, why would a touch area if it is to try to reproduce the effect of a real wheel?
- The touch area divided into 3 buttons, this is a false good idea. Ultimately, the usable area for the scroll is very small and if we move a little hand, it connects the false manipulations. In short, after 10 minutes, has only one desire: to leave only the scroll function on the entire surface.

If these defects are not very important because there may level (these are only the functions that you can disable), the following are truly prohibitive:
- The surface of the touch area with the finger grip, which easily glissepas. Suddenly, the scrolls, which are already less precise with a touch area with a knob, become really annoying.
- The glossy surface of the mouse makes it rather pretty ... and sensitive to fingerprints. Above all, this COLLE touch surface, even with clean, dry hands. It's really very unpleasant.

In short, this mouse could have been really nice if Microsoft had made a real care to surfaces, such as Logitech could do with his T400 Touch Zone. Its sticky surface and its touch area that will not slip mouse make an unpleasant and annoying to use. After unsuccessfully trying to get used to for several days, it now takes the dust. This is the first time.
