Once past the cumbersome setup, noise reduction with washers is clearly noticeable.

Without being completely removed (no possible miracle, a keyboard is a mecha mecha keyboard) the key sound is less acute and affects much less. The key travel is a bit shorter but that does not affect the typing comfort.

A must for all users of mechanical keyboards in open space :)
