1738, Vivaldi managed to twilight of his life and kept intact the fire of his debut, even though in Venice earlier decline had come for him and that another star rose to shine in the firmament of opera, Johann Adolf Hasse. This version, the Farnace of Ferrara, was the last to leave the Vivaldi pen, and was never illustrated.
