I use DiskStation as a central server in a small business network with 4 workplaces. Connected is the server over a 1000 network management. The DiskStation I have 3 WD 3TB (mirrored) boards with components.

Access gestalltet easily and safely thanks to the numerous options. No matter from Mac, PC or smartphone, the DS 214+ leaves nothing Wünche! The speed is quite adequate despite large amounts of data. With the extensive tools that can be instalation on the server, this unit is the ideal and affordable solution for home users and small office networks.

I have tested all possibilities (Video streaming, DVB-T connection incl. Media Server and lap recording, iPhone-Photo cloud etc.) and am completely thrilled!

The DS 214+ comes with a very generous power supply that barely heats up and so also contributes to operational safety. The large fan is not noticeable in operation and simplifies Paltzierung the device.

Those who want more should invest in the next larger NAS systems. What the DS 214+ terms, but I find that this is quite sufficient for normal users.
