A new game experience ....

After a long wait and the conviction that it was not necessary, I have but the price of this headset (was 38, where I bought it-no idea why it is more expensive now again !?) be convinced and slammed.

And I was not disappointed :)!

That such a "reasonable" headset already soundwise what makes me of course was clear but with this result, I did not expect. Quite apart from the already mentioned advantages with first-person shooters (opponents positioning, etc.), you get a new game experience even in games like Skyrim. Never, I was so deep in this vast world, as with the headset. Otherwise I had always now this * I control these types as * feeling. NOW I AM THE GUY !! This is truly over damn good. Each crackle, rippling, each step is perceived. Even with my 5.1 system, I do not get that so there! The room takes, but I in sweetspot (the point with the greatest effectiveness) seats, too many details, which simply can not happen with the headset. Absolutely brilliant. Another plus for me is that I so again have the charm, campaign games that I have already completed, yet again to remove dust and to test the new game experience. Dead Space 2, is certainly again an absolute blast: P

Negative
-The noise while grade is no sound. Although I must say that we then also need a headset halt when no sound is here! And quite honestly-even in loading screens is mostly sound. So definitely manageable. Is halt so a * Who seeks shall find * Error!
-The 2nd negative point, could possibly only from my ignorance and result is a general problem headset. I AM GLASSES !! And without quasi mole! I do it now so that I only bring up the headset and then attach the strap to the earpieces. by the spectacle but is slightly inclined to the ground on my nose and consumed my perception. The alternative would have been a headache after a while because the strap is too strong squeeze on his head under the earpieces. Because I can possibly give someone nen tip how I can do that better ??

views apart from my glasses problem, the headset is really super to the head. Even my relatively large spoon find easily place in the well-padded earpieces. The lying on the headband part is well padded and therefore hardly noticeable. In addition, the strap on both sides, pull by simply pressing / and snap, adjustable in length and should therefore be any head shape adaptable. The earpieces are movable and thus flexibly adaptable in all directions. The pads are ansich been very pleasant. After some time, one forgets almost that you have a headset on.
-The installation is also very easy on the hand. Even I (no 2 left hands! I HAVE 4 FEET !!) have managed that. The adapter of Lioncast (My tip for this product !!) has actually no other choice than the right plug. So, anyone can !!
Cable ansich is abundant because what I feel as an advantage over the wireless larger (and much more expensive!) Brothers of the X12, because the "just" run on batteries (which would ultimately be even for zusaätzlichen cost)!
-The Settings are top! Since there is not much more to say. Game- Chat and bass volume are separately adjustable and thus can be set individually for each player. Could not be better! This one sounds even while chatting of course, is getting used to. But is it really so that Hörmuschlen that include complete ear and you will notice only his voice from inside, which is quieter than usual. The enticed to be louder, which is very unpleasant effect on the respective chat partner. Get used to it and feel it ended up being an easy clever solution!
-The Quality! Guys, I do not spell !! Who so far only knows the sound of his TV boxes, is welcome to me to test this sound experience. Since I'm really for nerd and say that everyone deserves to experience a game like this. And the game has ansich, deserved to be so perceived. Just great! As I said, I have Skyrim about 30% gambled far before I got the headset and it seems to me as if I'm playing a new game. Well, at least Skyrim 1.5. Really a lot more depth. In Battlefield, which is so blatant that I got stepped down as actually pretty good player, not first. Since I got the feeling even in this game, that I am the soldier, I have dared no longer around corners etc. (could someone shoot me yes !!; D). But if you have become accustomed to half an hour about turn, which is sooo crazy :) It really is war in my pear and my F2000 crackles as beautiful as ever! A pleasure to operate the virtual trigger button and hear the raw power and seemingly felt. THE MADNESS!
-The Chat quality is so good that I can leave the flexible microphone far away from my mouth, otherwise people complain most about the fact that my voice (FUS RO DAH) small insider :)) would be too loud. Voice quality default, are worlds between the orig. XBox headset and the X 12th
-The Price is unbeatable, even with the current 50 euros. A colleague of mine, is son hobby DJ and definitely has professional equipment at the start. I can hear him and he should appreciate what the part will cost so. More than 100 euros was his assessment :) and visibly surprised he was naturally over the actual price.

Conclusion: This headset, at this price is almost given. Newer TVs you can connect the cable directly to the AudioOut ports and therefore view your movies on a PC and it works well also (I have not tested yet!)

Unrestricted buy recommendation!

Update: Own the headset already a few weeks and can give a little review ...
remain postiven- as negative characteristics, stand up for a few small details.

Details: -I wrote of the enemy location. I have to correct something. Although you can hear if anyone comes from the right or from the left ... but not whether the person is already in front of or behind you. At least it was so with me !? I'm going in this regard the Ear Force DSS set 5.1 / 7.1 sound processor times and hear whether this will enable the opponents precise locations. But must say that I do not feel that as a disadvantage. Here a stereo headset will halt offered :)!

-To Your own voice that you hear through the headset, I have to say that it soon so seems to me, as the headset had somehow adjusted / adapted. At the beginning, it was really true that I have heard my voice so about half an second later only. Now, I and my colleagues am convinced that it is really taken 1 to 1. So is reproduced at the same time, what I find more enjoyable than before.

Tip: Still water Before I used the adapter of Lioncast, I connected the RCA plug via an adapter that goes from RCA to jack directly to the TV. The result was really good .... but nothing compared to when the sound is drawn via the Lioncast adapter directly from the box! At least double- if not 3 times as good as before !! Just in case that someone even made so far has adapter is definitely worth !! Or at least the way often described to fumble the cable apart! Get yourself the sound directly from the box in order to experience the full sound experience can :)
