Meanwhile, one has to "had" some Navis and TomTom - I can preface equal - was never my favorite.
However, the "Free Time Live Maps" is an argument to it to decide yet again - if only for one test.
(My last TomTom - get the test - was the TomTom GO LIVE 1000. After just one year, I have thrown away, exasperated, because the many dropouts were really a disaster - it is somewhere in Croatia or Italy and there's nothing more, namely nothing !!!)
So, a new opportunity ...
The Navi is lightweight and portable, what I like the most. I run it in the car always on charger, therefore can not say anything about the battery.
Operation intuitive, = as expected like that.
Roads are also - I immediately tested in the area of the ring road - currently.
Jam-optimized bypassing interests me rather less, and should be tested in the rural area hardly.
Now the negative aspects, but these are quite subjective - so please bear in mind that it may be that you perhaps do not bother!
My personal problem with TomTom, however, still. The announcements are too talkative for my needs. (If I am thinking of the internal system of the Passat or Mercedes, I begin to rave about heavenly peace and unexcited driving.)
The announcement of gyros - it is announced twice! - Or confusing message for turning bugging me incredibly - well, this turn in 180-bends, which still have a feeder road.
Well, that is a lane assistant is very cute, but I've never missed with the aforementioned navigational systems such as VW or MB.
Ah, still a positive point !!!! The announcement of radars is optionally set and a significant argument my decision for the TomTom. Unfortunately, I live in a region where I previously could test the way I wanted. As far as I know of an older TomTom, this warning example is a godsend for Austria and Italy. Especially in Italy, where it's permanently beep warns TomTom reliable! For Italy, this TomTom - if it's otherwise still so annoying and I would much by maps / maps go - definitely one of the party.
,
Conclusion: A Navi has become indispensable for many journeys, and not because you could not hinfinden itself, but because you get so also shown reliable speeds or traffic jams and warnings for speed measurements.
These are the big pluses. Just as the map updates!
When it comes to the type of navigation message from TomTom, I'm definitely not a fan of it and I never will be. If the announcements yet as the Garmin still opp Kölsch or Saxon would at least be set, that would have its funny side.
PS. Do not hesitate, the usefulness of the evaluation / review through fair clicking (Yes) / (No) to evaluate. In this way can find out whether it was worth while or whether customers read the reviews at all and perceive the reviewer. - Thank-You! :-)
