The first volume had won, despite my desire to throw the book at certain passages. This second volume is just as addictive, but different. This is not the love triangle that is central to the plot, but the installation of bases and evolution of the new couple. And given their past, this is not going to be easy for Kiera and Kellan. Kiera has matured and is much less annoying. She now knows what she wants and it's Kellan. But the seductive side of it is very scary to her and she became suspicious. As for Kellan, he is still as sexy, romantic and passionate. Its stuffy and reserved side will play tricks on him. The secondary characters have an important place in this volume. Anna's sister Kiera is much more present, but the rest of the group too. And attaches a much more certain, and less to the other. The pace is fast, no trouble. Writing is always nice. Twists, suspense and some beautiful passages, lead us into an addictive reading. A suite in the continuity of history. A nice change of romance and characters. Very different from the first but also grandiose.
