Elliot can do better! (Paperback)

Customer Review

My son became a fan of Chantal Cahour reading since the series on the young wizard and Oskar pushed me to read this book. Elliott is a more everyday heroes, torn by the ambitions his father for him. A nice way to explain to children that they have the right to have other desires than their parents and adults that academic failure is a complex phenomenon, involving much more than the capacity or the will to work. Easy for children to identify with Elliott dilemmas that behavior which seems to him to win him even beyond his control. It could almost be a great advocate for the RASED although he ever question. The story is short enough to be accessible to all types of readers and it will undoubtedly speak to each, making them reflect on the challenges that the school can crystallize.
I also particularly liked the story of the genesis of this book, the result of work of the author with a primary class, told in postscript.
