In practice, this is a huge disappointment, a beautiful concept marred by sloppy software, unsatisfactory.
The main reason that motivated my purchase (and spend Garmin Tomtom) is the swimming mode. But this mode is simply unusable.
As regular as much we swim ever, marking the half rounds, carefully following the advice of Tomtom, the watch stubbornly or forget to add length, for an error of about 50% every time . (I do not even understand that the software is not surprised 50m lengths conducted in 5 seconds)
TomTom promises improvements for months, but none of these promises has been fulfilled so far.

In addition, it is impossible to visualize "with length" data on Tomtom web interface or on MapMyFitness, and thus even less to correct these anomalies afterwards. Mileage exclusively based on these incorrect data, all values found in false!
For it is the second big complaint to make: having had Suunto and Garmin watches, and having tested and used Endomondo, Runtastic and Runkeeper, it appears clearly that MapMyFitness and Tomtom Mysport are by far the worst. Both in terms of ergonomics features.
And that's not to mention mobile applications, non-existent for Tomtom Mysport, unpleasant for MapMyFitness.
On the side of good points, it should be noted that the "Quick fix" GPS function is quite effective and that localization is done quickly, even in the city and on cloudy days. The accuracy is comparable on all GPS, ie satisfactory, nothing more (errors occur regularly dozen meters).
In the end, despite a promising hardware, the most positive adjective that one can do on this watch, the current state is "poor".
I do not recommend purchasing it, at least until all these points have not been addressed in depth.
