For narrow Euro plug the adapter is absolutely fine. But for wide safety plug (zBSteckdosenleiste, hairdryer etc.) ...? Well, to me, the consignor, oddly enough a model sent, in which a British pin was replaced by a plastic pin. (The product picture speaks a different language effectively, ts!) In addition, project on the insertion side for the German plug two plastic webs (on purpose!) So in the plug channel inside that you can put the thick safety plug NOT, just the narrow Euro- plug. For most users enough. Many chargers have indeed today only Euro plug. Tip: Using pocketknife and patience can be cut away the plastic webs - which also thick safety plug be plugged. But be careful! A real shock-proof function (Schuko is shockproof and is especially for devices with metal housings sense) does not exist anyway because the third pin, as I said, only fake / plastic is. But please note that some "safety plug" nowadays have no lateral protection contacts more, but as a two-pole Euro plug function. The adapter can be used without worry in then "carved". For real "German" safety plug are necessary in any case three "British" metal pins.
