I was looking especially an Ethernet / USB adapter which allows me to get some USB ports to offset the low number of USB ports available on the subnotebook (only 2 and no RJ45). This is an ideal product, moreover without external power supply and reduced size. I had already purchased the same type of adapter but Gigabit port for USB 3.0 works very badly. That's why I chose an adapter for USB 2.0 port to avoid backward compatibility issues. I had problems installing it on an ASUS notebook windows 7 (not detailed enough instructions). The Ethernet adapter is working and the additional 2 USB ports. By cons, my wifi card is fully planted (it turns off by itself automatically). Can not say it's related, but it is the same installation period (my internal wireless card was still perfectly well). I used this adapter with a newer subnotebook under Windows 8.0. There I did not install, I let the system be alone installation. It immediately market smoothly and without any similar result ... So a little mixed reviews despite a functioning product itself is completely consistent.
