The metal clip at the end is so big and standing that it bears on the display glass. This would be scratched during transport in a rucksack etc or there is even a higher risk of glass breakage. Unwrapped, wrinkled forehead, wrapped - returning.
When the metal plate as in comparable cases inside the cover would be the part been OK if there were also compromising stability.
