Baseline: an archaic radio, which the reader is HS but not the radio and tees complicated to dismantle (the need to deposit the instrument panel ...). Solution: Initially I planned to change the unit for a model just doing SD card reader and USB, Amazon offers in less than 25. But the handling is complicated I look for an alternative. The FM transmitter. Benefits: - Cheap (8) - Easy installation: less than 3 minutes and no need to touch the integrity of the car because everything is external and connects to the cigarette lighter, like a GPS charger. I set up a radio station on an empty memory slot (in this case 87.5 fm) which is the default setting station (but that can be changed easily) on the device. The transmitter turns on direct contact. I put a USB stick immediately recognized. The radio transmitter captures and disseminates content. - Decent sound (no interference to medium volume, no major problems). Obviously I think that opera will lose much by this system but to listen to the pop / rock that is honest. Caution: in some agglomeration where FM band is saturated, I think it works badly. - Functional remote control, compact, fairly intuitive. Disadvantages: - No storage of the current track (on a large capacity of this key can be painful) we must take to the beach one. - Fairly quick navigation between tracks I would recommend small key from 1 to 2GB to a large change key 16 for example. Ditto for SD cards.
At the moment there is a first use. To be validated over time. Indeed the unit appears moderately strong but for that price (hence the 4/5 for now) ... Anyway, it works as promised, it fulfills its role and that's not bad. PS: maybe a spare fuse in extra would be good.
