These bulbs "the" diffuse a warm and powerful light, very pleasant in the wall where I have installed, it is impossible to tell the difference with previous halogen bulbs, it changes some pale LEDs that I have had before :-)
For a consumption of 6w, rendering is equivalent to a 50W halogen or an incandescent bulb 80w (approximately): if the product sheet may seem deceptive, because apparently it is the manufacturer takes the incandescent bulb as a baseline.
Level reliability, I have only tested 6 blisters on 10 received, and all work perfectly.
I just regret their hull white plastic (good quality): these spots will not fit in luminaires where the reflector halogen bulb is part of the overall design. But hey, it, it shows the photo of the product, so it is no surprise unpacking.
Two points to finish helpful:
- These bulbs can not be mounted behind a dimmer;
- They heat almost as much as halogens.
