A real find

Although my last smartphone from Samsung were (Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S4 mini) I had until recently not heard of Samsung Galaxy Alpha. I came across it by chance, and have now bought it because of the positive reviews. The current price of 350, - for this premium smartphone I can only explain so that the Alpha is generally relatively unknown well, and therefore probably not particularly good selling ... a real find so :-)

Positives:

+ Ergonomically correct dimensions and super flat
+ "Status LED" that signals the arrival of new messages
+ High-quality appearance by the slightly rubberized back and metal frame
+ Fast processor speed allows liquid operation
+ 4.7 inch display is exactly the right size for me
+ Battery lasts longer than expected. (I have now nevertheless ordered the 2,500 mAh battery pack-for even more power.)
+ Good speakers / good camera / 4k Video
+ Connectivity absolutely on the amount of time: LTE 150 MBit / s, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 1.3 Gbit / s, DLNA, Quadband, etc.
+ Back cover removable / replaceable battery

Neutral:

- Nano-SIM Card size: you need possibly a new SIM card and must trim his Old
- No memory expansion possible using SD cards. No problem for me, since I have my own "cloud".

Conclusion: I am completely satisfied. For the lack of SD card slot and the Nano-SIM card format I'd actually pull off a star ... but due to the absolutely great value for money this star comes straight back on top :-)
