This looks alone is optically exceptionally made, just twisted. The bright blue of the plastic is very fresh (fresh ocean ...), only the handpiece is held in a dark blue tone. The surface of the plastic is smooth but still sufficient grip, even with damp hands, the fountain pen is very good in the hand, both right and left. A really good solution to the designer.
Delivered the filler in a quite space saving blister pack, contained in the filler provide off themselves (incl. Cap, of course), and two ink cartridges Pelikan, blue.
So ... there you go, with the letter ... I thought. The first "letter" turned out to be something complicated (I remember that was so at my own "old" Pelikan fountain pen ...). Enclosed cartridges pure, turn ... nothing happens. Again on ... etc. Finally, with a little pressure on the cartridge, the ink flows ... and since she really does it without problems.
The spring of strength M slides without scratching noises on the paper, the ink stroke is smooth and wide of normal.
The filler itself is well in hand, one can also formulate some longer texts easily and without fatigue. The supplied blue ink can be removed as usual with an ink eraser.
Overall I like this new Pelikan very good. The design is refreshingly different, but this one has not left the functionality in mind. Only the perhaps a little "clunky" thing with the cartridges is not perfect yet solved ... A really good alternative to the increasingly coming into fashion rollerball pens ... highly recommended!
