Psychology Of Crowds (Print on Demand)

Customer Review

Why is a fanatical crowd capable of anything bad but not the best? How a psychological crowd she fit? What did she little to do with a human aggregate together at random? Who and what is it composed? How does she react to requests? Who are its leaders? How do they get their way?
Released in 1921, this important book of psychology and sociology become a reference and a classic, brilliantly answers all these questions and many others by removing number of handling mechanisms, indoctrination and propaganda. Le Bon illustrates with many examples from history (peak and fall of the Roman Empire, French Revolution, Napoleon, Baker, Lesseps and others ...) The contemporary reader may add a few dictators like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and Kim Il Jong other by saying that all these phenomena have considerable growth! Despite a relatively difficult subject, "The Psychology of Crowds" remains a fascinating book where the reader still learn a lot while remaining admiration for the delicacy of analysis, clarity of purpose and elegance of style.
