I had already a media of another well-known brand more housing, I decided to change because of a multitude of small annoying bugs and compatibility issues. After a few days of use, I am delighted the MED800X30D! Key highlights: 1) Compatible with ALL video and audio formats (really all!): He reads everything absolutely, no problem decoding, even on very large MKV files played from an external USB hard drive (> 10MB) without any stutters 2) no bugs found so far: very stable (all competitors can not say the same ...) 3) Excellent image quality and upscale (although other boxes also make good) 4) a clear interface (if a little austere) and pleasant 5) a range of connections: HDMI, composite, AV, coax, optical ... 6) ultra smooth slow motion, even in x32 7) a convenient remote control and backlit 7) the cables supplied (HDMI, AV, USB 3.0 ...) it is rare 8) the fan is almost inaudible 9) the design of sober and aesthetic housing, a nice blue light
Weaknesses: 1) the documentation is in English (except for the "starter guide" multilingual, very brief); this is not a problem for those who speak the language of Shakespeare like me, and it is even relatively minor since the interface is available in French and intuitive enough to do without instructions, but it's a shame.
In short, almost without fault and a quality / price absolutely outstanding!
