Like Bach, here we find a narrator explains the action, located in time and gave the floor to key stakeholders. If the musical means are not those of Bach, far from it, the fact remains that Keiser known to produce beautiful music, essential and often touching in the style of a Bach or Handel but very lighter and a little more rustic.
Side interpretation, nothing to say. Each singer takes its role without any excess, accompanied as well by an excellent choir of a very good orchestra. Bravo to the chef who realizes there a superb job of general equilibrium.
A beautiful drive which should delight all lovers of baroque music!
