I figure it's the least of it, if only for editing. I am often the first to criticize publishers when they deserve it (!!!), but now I must say, this is a gem. The notes are placed right in front of the page, which makes it very comfortable reading, the cover is beautiful, typography, paper ... just for the object, you must buy it.
David M. Shapard notes are excellent. There are a few crossroads with the other volumes, but it is not a problem because there is so much to remember than a wakeup call can not hurt.
This novel in particular being a parody of Gothic novels, Shapard's remarks are a real literature course, which adds to the interest of reading.
Now for the story, I would say that for me it is a novel "young adult". This is Jane Austen, so, of course, it's well written, the male character is chewable, but ... he's so young! The heroine, meanwhile, not only young, but also not very intelligent (well, in my opinion). True, she's nice, but it has not finished cooking, also well one has the feeling that Tilney must be educated before .... I stop, I would not want spoiler; -)
But I recommend it anyway, because it's Austen, because this is Shapard, because it is an experience to do once in a lifetime player ...
