I acquired the GARMIN 110 after testing several weeks the GARMIN 500 I use bicycle. I became addicted to the service "Garmin Connect" management data acquired by GPS (altitude, speed, cardio ...). I wanted to follow my running workouts on foot in the same way as those biking. So I turned to the simplest model of Garmin GPS watches. It is a little heavier than a Polar watch. The capture of the GPS signal is quickly unconfined. In the city, surrounded by buildings, CA may take 2 to 3 minutes on bad days. The data transfer to the online service "Garmin Connect" is using a clamp that attaches to 4 electrodes on the back and is connected to the computer through a USB port. A mini USB port on the watch could have been more relevant. I worry about corrosion of the electrodes on the long term. For data transfer, you will get back the elevation of the outlet, available data on the watch because it is not equipped with the altimeter. I use mtnt for 3 weeks. I had a single crash that made disappear the data in the watch without consequence since my data was stored on the Internet. I would highly recommend this product that is both affordable and very compact compared to the first generations of GPS watches. This miniaturization, combined with the "Garmin Connect" service were the decisive factors for me in buying this watch.
