For those interested in the Country Music and its development, this book is esssntiel. This is the first book truly devoted to one of the most fabulous independent record labels of all time. Established in 1953 in Texas, Starday was then established itself as one of the jewels of Nashville, Tennessee. Country, Hillbilly, Bluegrass, Gospel, but also Rockabilly are on the menu of this label that, personally, I collect for over thirty years. A must read.
