What I mean by that is that the photos abusing contrast very unpleasant and the famous polarizing filter that appears too agreed and which has been so widely used and abused in length books, it makes me think these books like "100 most beautiful locos" or "1000 most beautiful birds in the world", a bunch, sorry ..... a comprehensive collection, ugly and useless on the topic. (then to say that this filter exasperates me). Filter helpful but we can consider our days to just famous advertising brochures and posters, so that "it tape". But for a book supposed "exhausser" magnificence and subtlety of parks and gardens, one would have expected a lot better than these great very very azure skies or even, purple ............ ...................... In short the rendering is a contrast cold and detached, not really no poetry emerges from these images, what a shame, the place promised to be fine to go, but wandering is icy. The person who gave me this book was done without removing the plastic film, relying on the usual quality of the works of Martinière, but now ... it's sinking. Finally, it is a very personal taste, but hey, in short, poets and dreamers small mists of morning abstain. However for aficionados of all stripes polarized, it's perfect and the photos are quite detailed in this large format to fill them.
