A true amplification WiFi throughout the house.

By the time I write this comment, this small WiFi amplifier works perfectly (on two floors of 80 sqm) continuously for three weeks, without raising any cut that would have required a reboot and without particular concern for its installation on my network. On the Ethernet jack, i connected my game console, and the audio output with speakers attached live music nickel output via a telephone or PC.

I was able to easily configure both bands separately WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz with my Orange Livebox router, integrated with the software interface of Linksys; by entering its IP address directly into the browser's address bar, or even by clicking on the icon found in Linksys devices in the global network.
Still in the same interface, you can see the number of devices connected to it, change the SSID name, password and the security mode, if you do not want to have the same settings as your router. As for me, for connection of simplicity, I chose the same setting for my router. You can also update its firmware, testing an IP address on your network, and see the quality of the signal.

- The installation is as easy as pie: simply plug it directly into a wall outlet (without extension), the light flashes, and after two minutes, the light remains solid to indicate that sest added automatically to your network. - The speed wired is 100 Mbit / s.
- WiFi-n speed strongest (excellent quality) actually reached 300 Mbit / s, 2.4 or 5 GHz; I lai pointed directly to my Samsung smartphone. By placing himself in a corner farthest from Linksys or router, throughput drops to around 56 Mbit / s, with good quality.

Before Linksys, my WiFi network with two Powerline Devolo 500 WiFi, perfectly amplified wasnt in the room where the CPL are, and for a maximum speed of 72 Mbit / s; Moreover, as soon as lon was a wall or door, throughput fell by half and the quality became very unstable or bad. Since installation of the Linksys on the ground floor (the Livebox is upstairs) throughput rose to 300 in the router's environment and between 250 and 300 in that of Linksys, never go below 56 Mbit / s .

So, I can do without WiFi Devolo repeaters, and put only simple CPL. So, admittedly, its price is a bit high, but this device is really worth!
