There was the 2m cheap solution that suddenly at certain points of the image (in certain circumstances) "Störstreiferl" (= strokes a small but perceptible length) produced (change to "correct cable" has solved the problem immediately. Reproducible.
Since the setup that has been working properly and suddenly comic image disturbances was produced (second half of the screen briefly all white for a frame). The problem was a cable just faulty worked at 720p flawlessly in 1080p (it was an upgrade to full HD).
And there were these strange sporadic audio dropouts every few minutes. I switched the satellite receiver - no result. Out of desperation (the TV would be a "huge" geschiess been for packing) I voted against this change-reviewed here the cable and never heard of problems.
I do not think a better or worse image / sound depending on the quality of the cable (I'm too much technicians). But I've seen what can make trouble "cheap" cables. These here are not so bad expensive (the king cables are also great) and have so far always works flawlessly.
Achso- who does not know what he needs "Audio return channel capability": The TV provides the currently "Displaying" audio signal (best yet clean synchronized to the image) back to the system.
If this display was previously helpful to you, then it would be nice also to evaluate him so.
