After a long decision-making process was clear: The Z812 IS is my new camera. I have read reviews, used laboratory tests on the image quality and put all popular fellow competitors in the hand. In some test reports I wondered really what was tested. Now I have almost 600 pictures shot in the sun, at night, with the telephoto zoom, wide-angle, landscapes, portraits, sports scenes and images in bad weather. The result is pure excitement! The Z812 is super fast fotografierbereit. The shutter lag is by far the best in the class! The zoom and auto focus super fast and accurate. The scene modes are very well matched. The many adjustment options provide excellent leeway for laymen and experts. Flash intensity, aperture, shutter speed, and the focus can be optimally adjusted to any situation. The same applies to many other settings. The automatic white balance is great. The display is brilliant and can already be on the camera quality reviews of the images. The image quality reference level and is not far from entry-level DSLR cameras. The initial momentum, the color fastness, the actual resolution, the directionality of the resolution, the artefacts, the sharpening and noise performance are in this class currently top! The rendering processor does a very good job, but it can be a little more time than the other competitors. The sequence mode is amazingly fast. A very nice feature is the Panorama mode, which works very well. Also the optical image stabilizer does a good job. In short: All the camera, makes them very good. To operate you need a little acclimatization. But If you take the time, then, the concept turns out to be well thought out and easy to use! A special feature in this class is the video mode. The camera can also record video in 720p resolution with stereo sound in addition to PAL resolution. The quality is really acceptable. Unfortunately layman but have trouble smoothly to watch the videos on your PC. I can not quite understand why it must be calculated .mov files! Equally incomprehensible is that Kodak makes the camera easy 50 more expensive, but mitliefert battery, charger and a matching bag is. Even Währe the camera from the price / performance ratio ago still a bargain! Who does not mainly attaches importance to a long tube, with the Z812 gets a turbo, the image quality is optimized. I can only awarded 5 stars because this bridge camera absolutely served its purpose and builds a bridge towards DSLR cameras as well that sometimes you think to take pictures with an SLR.
