For my Matura (my high school) in English, I have specialized on Martin Luther King. As part of this course, I read the autobiography. First of you should know that this is not really an autobiography. Martin Luther King has such a never written, but this is planned and therefore always wrote notes. Clayborne Carson has collected all these notes and this "autobiography" written. Very detalliert told the human rights fighter Martin Luther King his story and the fight for black freedom in America. During life you get a good insight into the mindset of Kings, his lifestyle and his personality. Contents of this book is so absolutely great. I learn now since 8 years of English, read English books regularly, I felt while reading but sometimes quite difficult. I am interested in the life and work Kings, but the "fighting" in the various American cities are still very similar, and so comes from time to time a little bored on. But the whole, this book is highly recommended and a very valuable document of our time. Also one feels after reading perhaps enjoy one of the 4 books that Martin Luther King himself wrote (Stride Towards Freedom "Strength To Love", "Why We Can not Wait", "Where Do We Go From Here?") to read.
