In my case not even need configuration: Controller automatically recognized in Ubuntu 15.04, and even already configured with the right buttons with the emulator that I use! (Via Snes9x Retroarch), which is still the large class (although it's probably a coincidence, and no guarantee that this is the case with other emulators / systems is practical).
Of course, there is a traditional PC controller, so you can play any PC game or emulator, not just to SNES emulators (so for fans of retrogaming: Megadrive, Nintendo, Neo Geo, all Game Boy models, Arcade ...).
For its price there is no hesitation, I ordered some for the parties to 4 players.
As a bonus the controller has the turbo / rapid fire mode (knob "supports" repeated quickly for you on a given button when you hold pressed) via the TURBO and CLEAR keys: to activate the turbo mode for any button, hold Turbo pressed, and press the button of your choice (to deactivate it, same thing but with Clear).
Well to be honest, it is rather incidental, the turbo mode not used much in most games, but you never know.
