I finally threw myself into reading this saga whose magnitude me long cools. Robert Jordan had the good taste not to take Tolkien's universe and create one of its own even though it may fall and there are some similarities. Write side Fantasy genre is not always bad, many authors have a very basic style. Jordan is a real writer in nice style and rich vocabulary. The sound concise and accurate descriptions brushing the backdrop of the events and characters may seem a little light at first but they will turn out in the course of the adventure. This one is really the strong point of the book between the unexpected twists and colorful characters that our heroes encounter the reader never gets bored at Long 800 and some pages. To those who would hesitate to launch I said that this first volume can be read alone as a novel by full, so no frustration if you do not have volume 2 at hand. As for me I attack the future without further delay.
