Found in the drawings of this album, many similarities with "distant neighborhood." They are more elaborate than those manga albums. There is a history, a thread. The story is cute, very friendly, perfect for a child despite a share of sadness, misfortunes like most albums of Jiro Taniguchi. Adults will find may be a little short story and a bit silly but just leave assess the child in us.
And as always with this author, the designs are very pleasing. There is a sweetness that emerges from these drawings that will soften the smallest as the greatest.
