The novel opens with a tragic period of history fairly well described at the outset that my particular held spellbound.
For students in his new class, Gabriel is fascinating. His manner of speaking, to dress, his wit, his lifestyle all made him "the guy" to patronize! But when one of the most popular girls in school is found murdered in a cemetery while Gabriel incriminates. For my part, I found that the plot was getting really interesting when the arrival of the Inspector Rochand. The novel looks like a thriller, although lon guess pretty quickly who is the author of the crime. Too bad because the clues and innuendo distilled in history leaves little room for suspense Nevertheless, my conclusion really enjoyed it!
Gabriel is a being apart, too mature for a teenager, but physically too "young" to impersonate ladulte which burns in him. Its long existence punctuated nest than doubts, and dangoisses dincertitudes, trying to cross the times without being able sattacher to anyone. Signer with those that they dislike and repulsive ones that he could love, constantly struggling against his nature not to suffer. But in the end not even he suffers in doing so? Who would want to dune as long life without being able to caress the hope Daimer one day déprouver passion and make real friends? Gabriel well have eternal life we do not envy a second.
Regarding the characters, I can not say except that they maient Gabriel left a lasting memory. I know that lon is in the field of youth novel, but nevertheless i thought the feelings experienced by adolescents nétaient not deep enough so that it comes to me of a key element of the story! Jaurai wanted more hatred (from * beep * ;-)) or spite, rage, perhaps I have not either believe in the love that they feel, yet not a single heroine nhésite second to defy prohibitions ( despite his young age) to help what he likes
In brief: A novel for teens, almost a thriller in very original esoteric accents and really off the beaten track. Pages spin without noticing sen no lon
