As already described, the film has a narrative style of wonderful old-fashioned touch - and this is reflected wonderfully in the really magnificent score of Carlos Rafael Rivera resist.
Instead of relying on musical showmanship, Rivera served specifically from the old masters of the genre, mainly in Jerry Goldsmith: These nerves tugging shimmering in high or low pitch strings reverberate for a long time after the memory of the listener ....
This delightfully melancholy title issue that repeatedly shows up like a thread and can feel the presence of Liam's internally broken character, also the pool of ideas of John Williams could be sprung, it calls but without copying memories of Williams' title theme to Clint Eastwood's "The Eiger Sanction - The Eiger Sanction "from 1975 shows ....
And sometimes very nasty, produced by chorus and orchestra Horror moderate shock moments might just as well come from well Lalo Schifrin's score to "The Amityville Horror" from 1979 ....
Carlos Rafael Rivera has with his score for "A WALK AMONGST THE TOMBSTONES" which almost completely comes fittingly without electronic support, presented a delightfully old-fashioned orchestral horror score, one has so not been heard for a long time, let alone ever be heard again hoped.
Almost continuous melodic and yet repeatedly producing goosebumps ....
Without a doubt: A very, very large proportion of the enormous impact of the film goes to the account of Rivera's really felicitous work ....
"A WALK AMONGST THE TOMBSTONES" by Carlos Rafael Rivera:
An absolute recommendation, which is worth to be discovered !!!!
Enjoy it best in the evening when it's dark, through headphones - and turns off the light ....
And then .... Rest in peace ....
