The following points should I particularly noticed:
1. Open World: So honestly, OpenWorld is different. Although I can go in Horizon 2 over fields, but I was prevented again and again to insurmountable fences, walls and obstacles to explore it all. In an open world game, it gives me great fun also to overthrow times over a cliff or to jump into the sea. In Horizon 2 None. All blocked with fences and walls. TDU offered here real OpenWorld Feeling.
2. events and collective tasks: The events are ok, the collective responsibilities rather boring and look very fake. Here TDU was even not perfect, but better.
3. Graphic: graphic console generational on the Xbox One better (resolution, rain, effects), but below my expectations: boring, always the same trees, not a lot of variety on the Map. Was a bit more varied in TDU.
4. haul network: The MAP size of Horizon 2 m. E. a joke. After a few hours you have actually seen everything. If I am thinking here of the two complete islands of TDU2 ....
5. fraudulent factor: Here is Horizon 2 front, unfortunately, in the negative sense. Only the purchase of VIP-Pass and Auto Pass make a full game, so you have to expect the same again 40 euros for a purchase price in the end. But the Forza-makers are greedy, we already know at least since Forza5.
6. Story: just as boring and placed as TDU1 and 2. FIG.
7. Rewind: Ok, that did not exist in TDU and is of course an absolute advantage of Horizon 2 and actually one of the few points that induce me to continue playing and not unpack my TDUs again ....
Everything scarce in all 3 stars from me.
Update from 7.10. after the first 5 comments and 13x "unhelpful" clicks are:
People, I need you not feel personally attacked the same (only applies to some of the commentators), I see it just as I have rated.
Basically FH2 a good game, and currently surely the "Best Open World Game on the current consoles" (there are also not a lot of competition.
Nevertheless:
- If I just want a racing game I can also buy Forza5 or Gran Turismo. FH2 advertises explicitly with OpenWorld and huge map, but precisely at those two points it hooks.
- Has anyone from the commentators TDU 1 and 2 played.? If a game to 90% of another (some years older) game abkupfert, but not once has the same extent, it is m. E. sad and potential has given away. If I as a developer already have a "role model", then the new product should nevertheless be better or greater and not slimmed.
- 3 stars are not bad rated but mediocrity. If there were "real" open world, it would have earned from my 4 stars. 5 stars get really only games that are also exceptionally good or innovative, but honest, innovative FH2 is not straight.
