Equal first: I am a sound engineer and working constantly with extremely expensive equipment and have eg. On my computer compared to a monitor for at least 2500,00 Euro Very short and sweet, I am deeply impressed: - The monitor system looks beautiful and high quality. All parts provide a solid quality impression. The controllers run smoothly, nothing wobbles, everything has a reasonable weight. Although the cable connections are not particularly thick, such a system but should normally be exposed also to high mechanical stresses, which is why I do not see that here as a point of criticism. - The features are useful. There is a treble and bass control. Both engage in a sensible the sound and can therefore also be used accordingly. The treble takes perhaps a little too spicy for Hififreak and is therefore more suitable to specify the appropriate direction to cause as eg a fine-resolution treble boost. The table volume control can if necessary also stay out of the signal chain and must therefore not be applied absolutely. The bass and treble controls were to my taste can be on one of the satellites. However, since these harbor no electronics, the system would thus become more expensive certainly. - It roars and growls nothing on the speakers, what would I especially take your last nerve - The achievable maximum volume is at least surprising, but is suitable for a favorite song in a little fun. For a room for dancing party would probably not reach more, but something is also not really thought. - Well, of course the Sound: Since'm really flat. That thing just sounds good and balanced. "Balanced" Especially with the word, it's easy to speakers not so. But here it is really so, that is virtually reproduced the entire frequency spectrum with no big problems or weaknesses. Thus, the listening pleasure is never dull, because many bass and treble make miracles eg Techno still kind of fun but for listening to speech (films!) Unbearable. Here that is not so. Since the boxes sound very neutral sound, any music and, indeed, language pleasant and well. There is (as with all speakers of this size), a small weakness at the bottom middle of the transition to the low end, the transfers of the subwoofer. But that's just a small and no pronounced weakness. The subwoofer is gratifying deep separately for my ears, so you do not feel that half the music comes out from under the table.
My conclusion very quickly: Pro: - Sound! - Fancy - Well processed - No noise - Sensible Features Cons: - Connector "mini jack" tends Experience has shown over the years to make contact problems (we will see!) - Volume control table is too easy to serve him with one hand may - Cable length may be too short for the one or other installation - Sound control on the subwoofer and therefore difficult to reach.
