Price:
I have 2 bread mixes a 360g ordered for the postage costs the price of bread is not so much pull). Priced the bread is of course much more expensive than a traditional bread from the baker, but so-called cost. "Dinners / protein bread" at the bakery also partly 3-4.
Priced it is a little more expensive, but it remains to be noted that they generally tend to be less of bread or "bread substitute" nourished with the low carb diet, but switching to other foods, so the price factor is at least not so clearly reflected in me.
To the nutrition:
The nutritional values are indeed pure from the KH content slightly worse than the stark variations from other manufacturers, but is 4,65g KH at 100g bread nor justifiable, even in the Atkins diet. 100g bread are with me about 2 slices of bread and when I eat it for breakfast with butter and chicken breast, one is tired and has a total of 4,65g KH eaten what is a super value for a meal at eg the Atkins diet.
Nearly 31g protein content in 100g of bread, however, are an almost brilliant value when pure chicken breast is approximately at similar values. Pay attention to a little to the weight of actually eaten bread, you can stay under the minimum limits of the KH-supply here definitely.
To taste:
And now to the more or less important point. It tastes like bread !! Although I myself eighth even more on the nutritional values and am ready for it to take some sacrificing taste in buying, but I can tell whether I had to cut back, or not yet.
The bread is mostly made from soy and gluten. I myself am absolutely not a fan of the typical soy flavor, but do not you realize this. The bread can be compared by the consistency with normal multigrain bread, the smell also and taste I can even find no real difference to normal multigrain bread, except that it may not be sooo tastes strongly of cereals, which can be easily explained if no grain has been processed ;).
So taste I can really give 5 stars. I gave the bread and my friend to try, has to follow any diets and is therefore used only to normal bread. They also thought it was very tasty and could not detect any unusual taste.
A little tip for preparation:
I initially processed only half a pack, as the shelf life of the finished bread or the taste or consistency after a few days rather subsides. It is not inedible, but it is expressed as normal bread rather hard and carefully "sticky". For this reason, I have only half the amount processed so that it is used up in 2-3 days, definitely. The final product in the half amount is comparable with a Ciabatte buns. So no size technically giant product, but you can cut it to 5-6 slices 50-60g. The discs are then of course relatively small, but this can be with a little more butter (if you like) and compensate with more cuts).
With half the amount, the baking time may be minimally reduced. I would recommend personally in preheated oven 175 degrees and 45 minutes Top / Bottom heat.
One must of course be aware that basically protein more saturated than carbohydrates, for this reason, my Erachtes 100g bread and filling, although the amount is not this suggests right away.
About me:
To identify a little more with the review, I give a few clues about myself. There is of course a difference whether man / woman and whether 150kg or 80kg. I myself am male and weigh 83kg at 186cm height. From a health condition I can not complain, my goal is just to get my body fat towards 8-10%, therefore the low carb diet. At 5-6 times a week Sport (2-3 x 2-3 x weight training and basketball) are basically eating more, so people could possibly perceive with less sport stint smaller portions than filling.
Résumé:
Highly Recommended. Top nutritional values, top taste.
