I bought this cover for my Ascend P7 because I found very interesting the Smart Cover functionality (small window of time / MP3 / etc). Unfortunately fulfills this cover in any way the advertised properties. The material ansich is still quite OK, because the shell smartphone but not completely framed in a vertical fall of the bottom would not be protected in any case. Much worse, however, is the absence of a magnet for closing or at least an additional hand strap that can be attached to the rear so that the cover does not go by itself on. Thus, the lid never lies flush on the display, which would be necessary for the P7 enters the Smart Cover mode. Just as is the case here, the lid always a piece is far from so that the Display is never turned off, and you have to press on the display, so that the time is displayed in the window of the lid itself. Thus, the cover has even less benefit than one with fully concealed lid, because there would at least turn off the display when it then lies flush.
Conclusion:
A star is still too much, the cover is not high, yet it meets the Smart Cover functionality.
