The JBL Control One is used by me as a Front High LS and since me this product the description and the picture appeared to the right place. Mount allows the Control One only if you like to Figure 5 (the lowest) mounted the holder. Mounted as shown on the cover are hidden connections inaccessible.
The supplied mounting hardware is completely unsuitable for this. The mere sight of the wall screws me was fear and worry. I tried it, the screws rotate through. So larger and longer Spax used - at least so that the wall bracket is seated firmly. Then you'll get still threaded screws with the size 6 (the supplied are too thin and do not fit). You screw now the Control One with the holder fixed to the plastic bend at once and does not keep the weight level. That is the LS touch on one edge the wall.
If the worst happens (hopefully not to be taken literally) would be the case height 2.30 meters. Although this would "only" material damage - than Rears where you possibly would be taken in a crash, I would have never installed - not with this mount.
My conclusion: useless for my purposes, and possibly quite useful reviews for lighter for other small speakers. For me, it is to buy new, stable holders. If you want to install the JBL Control One or a similar heavy box, should also look for matching brackets and take from this one distance.
