Here again my review for the Acer Aspire ES1-311-P6SJ, 33.8 cm (13.3-inch) notebook (Intel Pentium N3540, 2.1GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Intel HD Graphics, Win 8.1).
The notebook I have in May 2015 for 275, - Euro bought through Amazon Warehouse Deals (WD) and thus 80, - saved to the current price Amazon.com. This was my first purchase on WD, so I was a little nervous about what awaits me. The device has been delivered finally in top condition and a quirk I can not discover.
Pro (+)
+ Slightly (about 1 kg)
+ Portable
+ Good work pace (Windows / Office)
+ Inexpensive
+ Chic design
+ Matte screen = no reflection
+ Quiet fan
+ Display (not full HD, but 1,366 x 768 pixels rich)
+ Function Multi-Gesture Touchpad at
+ Long battery life
Contra (-) ... always evaluated in relation to the purchase price ...
- No 3D gaming possible
- No backlit keyboard
- Very poorly processed touchpad
- Installed speaker bottom of the notebook
- Housing = plastic pure
- Battery can not be swapped (permanently installed)
- 2 USB inputs
In my opinion, the notebook is suitable for occasional users who are looking for a portable, lightweight and low-priced notebook for at home or away. I would definitely advise against all who wish to use your notebook very intense or even full-time, because it would overstretch the notebook long term due to the processing. Also the lack of CD / DVD / BD drive can be a problem. Everyone should be aware that the notebook is just not a high-quality processed Apple MacBook.
For me as a casual user who is looking for a high return for little money, the ASUS notebook is a complete success and a strong buy recommendation.
I hope I could help you with my review in your purchasing decision.

1st Supplement: Because does not satisfy me at intensive use control with the touchpad, I have a Logitech Wireless Mouse (M525) added myself as a receiver module with the very small Unifying stick. The stick is hardly noticeable and can easily remain permanently connected to the device. Otherwise, is located under the battery cover of the mouse, the ability to store the stick.
2. Supplement: SSD upgrade: After one week of use, I have the original 500GB HDD exchanged for an affordable 64GB Samsung SSD. Now the notebook is running considerably faster! The old HDD I will keep as a backup medium. To upgrade I can give the tip to clone the original built-in hard drive to the new SSD, so the pre-installed Windows 8.1 is the future get to use.
My previous costs
+ 275,00 EUR Notebook
+ 37,00 Euro Wireless Mouse
+ 45,00 Euro SSD
= 357,00 Euro Total cost
