the tab above the heel, which presumably should ensure a more pleasant wearing experience, has served with me on each side exactly as far as the rear edge of the ankle. This I have at long distances every time the ankle excoriated.
To me - as I had the shoes already worn and she was unable to return - as relief to find, I finally cut out the tab. But it is unfortunately a small bead lagged that continues to provide a chafing :(
