2. Enthusiasm
HD / SD image: +
And suddenly I had to have a new television feel. The picture looked great from (Blue Ray / HD-program). And the SD program also looks pretty good, I think the only TV's that are better manage the SD picture, the Sony Bravia thanks to its X-Reality PRO picture processor. In HD-area addresses I no longer believe a lot better, I even watch many Blue-Ray and did not notice any differences to more expensive devices (eg Samsung F6500 of acquaintances).
DLNA: +
In addition, he plays over virtually any format from DLNA (MKV with DTS is not supported!) And the only thing that bothered me was that in MKV files do not fast forward and rewind can but maybe that was just testing the picture quality annoying.
Sport Football: +
Furthermore, I have tested even football in HD and handball in SD and even there no problems because the VLE 922 has a native 100HZ panel (is internally set to 200HZ PPR extrapolated) and just this native (true) 100HZ panel is outstanding for the price, considering that the entire competition equipment devices (eg F6170 = 200HZ CMR) out there regularly for 7xx at Saturn or MediaMarkt mostly just natively have 50HZ. . Sure enough, the prop already made to fast movements may pose without streaks BUT safe than sorry;)
3D: +
For me eig. Only gimmick but it looked quite impressive from even the conversion from 2D to 3D, I have as good seldom seen. Nice feature also the Dual Play function when playing on the Playstation is natural (Grundig 3D glasses for Dual Gaming required). However, I can also confirm that one of the two dual-Play glasses, permanent light shines through the image of the other which in the long run is a bit exhausting (tested with Grundig og glasses). Furthermore, this Dual Play glasses can also pick up the 3D effect, if a person wants to watch 3D (sets normal 3D glasses) and the other not (sets DP glasses on). This makes sense and works without problems.
Smart TV: +
Functions are available (Youtube / Skype) but have not been tested because I use a Raspberry Pi with XBMC.
Sound: o
Because you can not have much to say because I have connected via 3.5 jack my 2.1 system. The only thing that annoyed me was that I could not change the volume of my speakers with loud and quiet keys. Neither headphones output still above the 3.5 audio output jack. But. I was too stupid viell also adjust it correctly in the sound settings. Just so I always had the sound menu and then adjust the volume, which was a bit annoying.
To have So now I was very glad I bought the 55 "VLE 922, instead of the expensive Sony KDL55W805 (1200) because all I wanted was available, the image was really good and my long search (2-3 months) and the eternal considerations had an end. But then came the disillusionment ...
3.Ernüchterung (input lag)
Thrilled as I was I angeschmissen the PS4 and played FIFA 14. Wonderful no problems no input lag noticeably. Only I play rarely Fifa but Call of Duty (COD Modern Warfare for PS3 since I have all the parts and even local vending played) and what can I say, it was not pretty for that input lag was for me at once palpable. So I maintain that the John Doe player it does not necessarily noted and can live with it but often times each of first-person shooter play (my roommate and I have been playing Counter-Strike regular first-person shooter and are quite proficient in such game titles). I must say that we are not hardcore gamers, but simply play regularly. In games mode, there was only partly better and unfortunately could not convince us. And that's also the reason why we return the equipment after intensive testing, alas! Because as I said in other game genres (Racing / Sport) the input lag not really falls on.
CONCLUSION: class TV with, depending on the user, serious weakness.
-For Movies, TV, 3D fans and occasional games (no first-person shooter) thoroughly recommended.
-For All that is a bit more playing (preferred first-person shooter) that unfortunately nothing with a price-performance Kracher!
For prop. It's a shame for a Full HD TV to spend more money, because it is simply no longer worth it to spend more money for "old" technology. Because this year the UHD devices are entry level 55 "4K LED TV 999 $ (on the CES2014 to the price announced) much cheaper such as Eizo's. Sure, there are still no 4K material and that will still take forever to it for the average user is available but I've just not a good feeling about it, if I spend more than 1000 for an "old" technology (Full HD).
