Actually good, but broken ... + Supplement (new equipment)

Why I have chosen for a Tolino Vision 2?
For several reasons:
I am beginner and sought an easy-to-use device that even in the dark is easy to read. The Tolino is also compatible with EPUB, which pretty much all major bookstores support (except Amazon) and (more importantly for me) compatible with the eLibrary. That said, I can borrow in public city libraries free ebooks on the Tolino.
Costs are only for the annual fee to library (with me EUR 12 per year).
Since no system of this kind comes with.

The Vision 2 is gradually illuminated (can be switched off to save power), is waterproof (I have not tested, but I imagine the pool or in the bath practically) and has a new Touch System tap2flip (tap behind, already he flips order). This facilitates 1händige read (for me it worked).

Why only 3 stars and returned?
I had (probably) a Monday device.

Unwrapped, angeschaltet- nix.
Multiple press on the power button - nothing.
The USB charger to the PC connectedness no reaction.
But eventually teamed up what (please do not ask why, I do not know) and the device went on.

I must say, it was my first reader. But the service was easy.
Settings, draufladen ebooks, wireless charging, light on and off. Everything worked.

Then I turned off the Reader a few weeks (your Tolino sleeping) are had, because there is no time to read.
The battery consumption was immense (without using the same the announcement: device must be loaded).
Plugged, loaded .... or not.
1% charge took about 1 hour. Whether via USB or wall outlet.
The funny thing then: after some time appeared in front the battery mark (fully charged) under device information but was a battery level of only 37% displayed.
My unit had so any software damage (or whatever).
Crashed he is and eventually jumped back again. Very funny.

Therefore, he unfortunately had to. But I consider the new acquisition since outweigh the benefits for me:

Benefits:
+ Compatible with the eLibrary
+ Compatible with EPUB ebooks
+ Light
+ Waterproof
+ Simple operation, easy handling
+ Well tested (at least the previous Vision 1 was in much the same tests with the Kindle Paperwhite on)

Disadvantages:
+ Receive defective device
+ Battery life with me miserable (short disuse and now almost empty)
+ The unit flickers while charging the books and the "flip" in the settings very (but I think that all readers ?!) Fortunately not the actual reading of the book
+ No memory card slot more (as the Vision 2 is indeed waterproof). But still room for some books
+ Price 149 EUR (129 EUR) high

I am looking for a Onleihetaugliches device, it will probably again the Tolino ...

Postscript

I bought the Vision 2 again and am thrilled. Now everything runs smoothly. The old device I have only in the sleep mode (you Tolino asleep) can bring. Only now I know that it can turn off the power completely. I have no more battery problems and everything else runs smoothly and self-explanatory.
At the very first turn on the device has been updated, which did not work when broken.

I'll stay with 3 out of 5 stars because the first device would actually not deserve the 2nd for 4 or. 5
