Who should know: When RJ45 Pin 1 and 8 are used.

The plug does what it should.

!!! But beware: it is wider than a "normal" TAE plug!
If you (like me) multiple sockets on the PBX has closely next to each other, the plug will not fit side by side in! I had therefore with still other TAE plug buy (in "normal" width), who had to sit a 20cm cable at the end of the RJ45 socket.
