The installation / replacement turned out without any problems. The size is almost exactly a conventional bulb. The appearance differs only in so far as in the OFF state slightly wider yellowish 'filaments' in place of the otherwise hardly visible known wires are visible. Switched no difference. The brightness is subjective similar to one of the previously mounted conventional 60 watt bulbs. The light color corresponds as its predecessor and is for me in said environment not of a light bulb to distinguish. The viewing angle, and that was important to me in this case, also corresponds to that of a normal light bulb, and is not, as with most other comparable socketed LEDs strongly towards limited to version. About the power saving potential does not have to talk to. One of the lamps is approximately 10 hours each working day in operation, the other considerably shorter. Should pay off actually.
Much to my disappointment now for more than three months the time more exposed bulb stops the service. Priced at 16.95 this was a costly affair. Perhaps it is only an outlier. I will first procure or claim compensation and report again here in further defects.
Addendum:
07/08/14: Today, the second of the original bulbs has dropped. It was at 28.5. used in the time more polluted light, here it has kept still a good two months. In the last complaint by the way is carried out at the second attempt also sending a new lamp. This was first screwed on the less polluted place and implemented accordingly today. Now I'm curious!
15/08/14: Today received spare bulb. I can not complain about the service, therefore.
Again broken last week: 05.24.15. Has time kept at least 9 months. But likely less as in 2000 have been operating hours. Review therefore changed from 3 to 2 stars.
