Actually only a Mod

I must say that I am a little bit disappointed. The amendments to Civ5 are too low. If the graphics and names would not be otherwise, one would think you play Civ5.
And just for Civ5 player, which Civ5 was getting boring, then it is missing also at the hoped-for change. The game will be quite boring, because it simply offers little new.

The funny, or rather sad is that it is a Civ in space, to distant worlds and the counterparty all people. The aliens are just absolutely annoying "landmass blockers". Well you can let the technology incorporated virtually in its own, still does not come out "Space-Feeling" on. Everything seems somehow to ground with comic plants and animals.

In addition to this, you can with the new "nations" hardly identify.
The tech tree is much too confusing. Sure, after a few laps you know what is where, but still a certain structure but would have been beneficial.

Added to this is that it is quite unbalanced. If you go on harmony and the aliens leave them alone, it is much easier to play than if you go to Konfontrationskurs. That would be ok if the aliens would ne own faction, but they are only "beast" what rumnervt. If you can live with the fact that it practically a 1: 1-Civ5 offshoot, is here have been thrilled with BE. Civ5 player who, like me, looking for a change, will have to BE does not last a lifetime.
