Ultimately, it is once again about getting on a big field full of jewels three or more gems of the same color in a horizontal or vertical row. If you manage that, these gems are removed from the game and there are points for it. In Gem Spinner but you can not just swap Gems, they are also connected to variously shaped blocks. These blocks can rotate by tapping (hence "spinner") and the blocks move freely even on the field as long as sufficient free space is available.
The goal is not necessarily to clear all the tiles, but as many as possible. The more you make, the more stars and points you get.
The graphics are as easy and quietschebunt, as is usual in games of this kind. Nothing special, but with super performance. Exemplary are the few required permissions and übeschaubare memory footprint. The fact that the app is only available in English, is not so tragic, as the game can be operated intuitively.
All in all a really interesting change from Bejeweled or Zookeeper, which is a price at least for puzzle fans worth.
