What I miss repeatedly during playback, the display of the remaining time (count down). It appears only the elapsed time (duration). Why should this information be good?
The movies can (very practical: the touch screen) on the camcorder directly, but more convenient using the supplied software (Picture Motion Browser) are cut. When reading the films (and pictures) renames the PMB the raw files automatically in the format JJJJMMTThhmmss.mpg (recording starts) (or .... jpg) to. 1 MB is needed per second - at the highest quality. On the 16GB internal flash memory so even fit a couple of hours. The remaining memory is - as well as the remaining battery life - permanently displayed.
With reasonably steady hand, you can even the lunar surface film (see video)! The lens but needs a little while to "understand" how far away the moon is actually. When the sea surface (at dawn from about 50 to 100 meters) of the zoom searched in vain for a fixed reference point.
Overall, we are so far but quite satisfied.
PS The PMB software can convert MPG files to WMV files - they are thus less about 8x. The quality seems not to suffer (see video).
