Adapter is too short

The adapter is mechanich OK and conveniently with a rotatable threaded insert provided with the aid of the mounted lens can be positioned so that the scales on top.
Unfortunately, both adapters are around 0,87mm to shorter than they should be (45.45mm Installation height M42 - 18 mm Installation height Sony E = 27.45 mm adapter to length)
This means that my 50 mm lens has its infinity focus at a scale value of 3m. for photographing and filming so as not to gebrauche. Now I have, however, is fortunate to have access to a lathe, and have been manufactured with an intermediate ring with 0,87mm thick that I have placed between body and threaded insert. now everything is working properly and the distance scale on the lens also true again.

For 1/10 of the price of the Novoflex adapter (which I simply times would assume that is the correct length) is the false indication of the distance scale just about acceptable (the adapter might indeed be too long, then you could no longer set to infinity Focusing) therefore 3 *
