Now, four months later, the first radiator is broken. I find that bad considering the promised life. There are now dealing with high voltage spotlights (220-240 V) and not to low voltage lamps, which were connected to a "bad" Transformer ...
On principle I will remove the defective bulb to Osram mdBu send replacement, but the postage for the package is already 4 EUR ...
Supplement dated 28/08/14:
I have 4 EUR invested and sent the defective lamps at OSRAM. Within a few days I got a test record (sensor failed) and a handwritten signed (!) Letter in which you regretted the defect and gratefully showed that man was allowed to examine the defective lamps for quality assurance.
Since the sent in by me lamp type is no longer available (for obsolescence?), You would send me the successor under separate cover also let another lamp as compensation for my costs incurred (Porto) -and- a uniform photo in my hallway more lamps send on a goodwill basis.
Today came a pack of Osram, therein 5 (!) Lights of the successor model (same name, just 4.4 instead of 4.6 W rated power and 230 instead of 245 lumens).
So I can replace all four lamps in the corridor to the new model, have one more on reserve and 3 "old" lamps left, which will now be the reserve for similar kitchen spots.
What I call real GOODWILL that went beyond a guarantee, a performance of a company that I have never experienced, respect it.
Therefore, I have set up the rating of 2 to 4 stars. 5. The Star can I unfortunately defective because the actual problem = Lamp after a few weeks, do not give
In summary, one acquires not only a relatively new, modern lamps (I recommend the way first to buy only one lamp and then install the comparison in the optionally present Spot series) but also a "real" a manufacturer's warranty, the one in phase Technology upheaval obviously strives to consumer confidence, which I think is the right way.
